Wild Adventures

So much hype following the last post! How do I precede that?! Well, I ran out of housewives to do hot photo shoots with so I'm stuck degenerating to normal posts for the time being. But mark my words, I will be featuring many more beautiful women in beautiful clothes in the near future!

Onto the topic of this post. I stopped by my local Wal-greens for my usual weekly visit. I was ALMOST ready to check out with my normal make-up haul that I leave with every week, when the lady behind the counter told me to peep the new Wet-N-Wild megalast nail polish colors. I was fanatically enthralled to see the beautiful colors they had to offer and even more fanatical about the $1.99 price! I picked up 3 bright colors I thought were perfect for spring. Though I admit, I was a tad doubtful about the '5 day wear' they advertised, I bought them anyways overcome by the awesome price. I applied only one coat of the mint color (named 'I need a refresh-mint' ha! I always enjoy the fun puns they incorporate with the names) and needless to say , 5 days later there is minimal wear! I love it! I definitely plan on going back to stock up in other colors. In addition to my Wal-greens stop, I also made a few other purchases from TJ Maxx (my second home) & other misc. stores at the mall I have showcased below. Enjoy!

Real Housewives: Minneapolis Rendition

This entry is dedicated wholly and utterly to my housewife aka roomie Mina :) What started out as a joke seemingly fit and has now stuck as a title and another role she fulfills in her life. She does it all fellas! She cooks, cleans, schools, works, & even gets her daily GTL on (hence why I call her my housewife). On top of that she's beautiful and SINGLE! By no means am I trying to sell her by the way, but I WILL mention that Valentine's Day is coming up and applications are being accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis ;)

Furthermore, I decided one Saturday morning to play dress up with her and thus unfolded our mini photo-shoot. Though we were limited to the confines of our apartment, we had a great time being as versatile with scenery as we could. I incorporated different looks into her wardrobe to interpret the different roles she executes in real life. I can't forget to mention that I had my fashion team, gurus Moni & Winnie helping out. Seems to be a consistent occurence of complete and utter foolery and lunacy when we're together - in a humorous nature of course. But having a group of amazing friends is the best fashion accessory you can have :)

Happy New Year!

This post is written in both excitement for 2012’s exciting kick off thus far, and also in shame :( for being MIA for the past few months. There have been so many things I wish I could have documented within our extended hiatus period, but I elaborate not to dwell on my renowned demur but moreso in hopes that it will all change now that I've found a kick of inspiration. With my birthday, house warming, Christmas, and New Years all being within such a short time frame I thought I would showcase some of the gifts I received along with some deal buys I picked up this week. This post would have taken about 90 minutes to load if I were to actually upload all the photos I had intended on including, but let’s just say this is post #1 of many to come in the near future :) Hope you all had an amazing holiday and are enjoying your new year!

Tattered Tuesday

August is here and summer is in full swing! This is my favorite time of year, not only is it because its my (Winnie) birthday month but also because the temperature is just right for all those summer outfits for every and any occasion. Minnesotans know how to cherish this weather as we know well enough the snow is not far away. So its no time like now to snag all those great deals on those summer essentials, especially since stores are starting to mark their summer items down, readying for the fall merchandise!

I went on a shoe binge last week and i swear I wasn't even looking for shoes, it's like they found me. How can i resist it if they are clearance price??? And a few posts back Amy shared with you guys her accessory finds, so im going to share mine from when we were shopping together.
